YEIDA to Revise Bylaws, AAI Height Curbs to be Applicable Within 20km of Airport

Noida, September 8, 2025: The Board of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has decided to revise its building bylaws, as per the mandatory height restrictions of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) within a radius of 20 kilometer of the Noida International Airport.
As per AAI’s regulations for the Noida airport, no construction, erection of structures, or planting of tall trees is permitted within the 20km zone unless No Objection Certificate for height clearance is secured from the Authority.
YEIDA will appoint a consultant to survey the affected areas and draft detailed norms on floor area ratio (FAR), ground coverage, and permissible heights.
