Omaxe Partners with IHCL to Launch India’s First Stadium-Hotel & Elite Club in Capital

New Delhi, September 22, 2025: Real estate developer Omaxe Ltd has announced a landmark partnership with The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), operator of the Taj brand of hotels and India’s largest hospitality company, to introduce a Gateway branded hotel at The Omaxe State, Dwarka – India’s first integrated sports, retail, hospitality, food, and cultural destination.
At the heart of this partnership lies a 158-key luxury hotel, featuring 40 exclusive Stadium-view suites built inside the International Cricket-cum-Football Stadium – a first for India, offering guests an immersive match-day experience. In addition, there are 108 luxury rooms within the adjoining premium club building, catering to Delhi’s global business and leisure elite.
Spanning 50.4 acres and developed under a PPP model with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), The Omaxe State is designed around five lifestyle districts – Sports, Hospitality, Food, Social, and Shopping. Anchored by an ICC & FIFA-standard 30,000-seater stadium, the Project seamlessly blends sports, retail, leisure, and entertainment into one integrated urban ecosystem.
In addition to the hotel, IHCL will operate a 250,000 square feet elite members-only club, making it one of the largest in India. Inspired by global benchmarks like The Bay Club (Mumbai), Accor Arena (Paris), and private city clubs in London and Dubai, the club will feature signature restaurants, lounges & private bars, Olympic-standard swimming pool & leisure pool, spa, wellness & recovery centre, business lounges & co-working zones, library, bowling alleys, indoor & outdoor sports, world-class Gymnastics with Boxing Ring and state-of-the-art banqueting & event facilities with multi-level parking.

Strategically located next to Bharat Vandana Park and Yashobhoomi (Asia’s largest convention centre), the development is expected to become a magnet for global conferences, exhibitions, and sporting events. “The Omaxe State is not just a project; it is Delhi’s most ambitious destination. By partnering with IHCL, we are setting new benchmarks for hospitality, sports, and urban entertainment. From stadium-view suites to exclusive club privileges, this collaboration will redefine the capital’s lifestyle and leisure landscape,” said Omaxe Ltd Managing Director Mohit Goel.
With an expected completion by 2027, The Omaxe State is expected to generate a projected revenue of INR 4,200 crore over its lifecycle. More importantly, the project is likely to result in direct & indirect employment generation across hospitality, retail, sports, and services. A radius population of 30 lakh (equivalent to Paris) within 10 km makes it a natural epicentre for NCR’s lifestyle and commerce. With a footfall potential comparable to Dubai Mall and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, each driving multi-billion-dollar boosts to their host cities, The Omaxe State is expected to emerge as a landmark destination in Delhi NCR.
