Gurugram, March 2, 2026: The fifth edition of the Intellion Futsal League (IFL Season V) has officially concluded at Intellion Park Gurgaon, marking a historic milestone for corporate sports in India. This year’s tournament represented the league’s largest multi-city expansion to date, spanning both Gurgaon and Chennai. Hosted by Intellion Offices by Tata Realty, the event has transitioned from a modest 12-team local competition into a massive structured platform, drawing over 850 participants and an impressive 30,000 spectators across both regions.

The Gurgaon leg saw a dominant display of corporate engagement, with 34 tenant teams participating—representing nearly 80% of the park’s active occupiers. Statistics for Season V showcased a 55% surge in participation compared to the previous year, with a total of 185 matches played and 530 goals scored. In the Gurgaon finals, Dunnhumby emerged victorious in the men’s category, while CBRE claimed the top spot in the women’s division. This followed a high-energy leg in Chennai earlier this month, where Citigroup and Taj Wellington Mews secured the men’s and women’s titles, respectively.

Beyond the competitive scores, the league served as a critical pillar for workplace wellness and community building. In an era of high-intensity corporate schedules, the IFL provided a rare avenue for professionals to reconnect with physical fitness and engage with peers outside of formal office settings. The “Play for Good” philosophy was central to the season, with the league pledging football kits for donation for every ten goals scored. This initiative resulted in 60 kits being donated to community outreach programs, reinforcing the event’s social impact.

Commenting on the league’s growth and purpose, Mr. Ritesh Sachdev, Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Leasing, Asset Management, Sustainability & CSR, Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd., said: “The Intellion Futsal League has evolved into far more than a sporting event. It reflects our philosophy of community-building across our assets, bringing people together through shared experiences while remaining conscious of our social and environmental responsibilities. Over the years, we have seen consistent growth in team participation, deepening occupier engagement across our campuses and contributing to sustained occupancy levels. Initiatives like this also enhance the overall corporate ecosystem, strengthening relationships not only with existing tenants but also with prospective occupiers. Intellion League Season V reaffirms our belief that sport is a powerful platform for inclusion, engagement, and meaningful impact.”

Sustainability remained at the forefront of the tournament’s operations, aligned with Intellion’s ESG-driven approach to real estate. Environmental impact was strictly managed through the use of jerseys made from recycled PET bottles and the replacement of plastic flex branding with sustainable fabrics. To further reduce waste, the organizers utilized green gensets for power, eliminated single-use plastics via shared hydration stations, and transitioned to digital-first initiatives, including paperless certificates and a centralized digital photo library.

The cumulative success of the Chennai and Gurgaon legs has positioned the Intellion Futsal League as one of the most structured and impactful corporate sports platforms in the Indian commercial real estate sector. As the league continues to scale across cities, its legacy is increasingly defined by its ability to use sport as a catalyst for professional networking, environmental stewardship, and long-term social change.
