Noida, May 12, 2026: In a major breakthrough for the residents of Sector 137, the registration process for 1,521 homebuyers at the Paramount Floraville project has finally been cleared. According to a press release, the developer settled all outstanding liabilities with the Noida Authority by paying ₹80.48 crore, effectively removing the administrative and financial hurdles that had stalled property ownership for years. The move brings long-awaited relief to families across the 16-tower residential complex, which spans over 12 acres.

The project’s history has been marked by a decade of administrative complexities. While 14 of the 16 towers received occupancy certificates as far back as March 2015, financial disputes between the developer and the Authority left many buyers unable to formally register their homes. The final two towers were recently granted occupancy certificates on January 31, 2024. This resolution was made possible through a state-implemented system based on the Amitabh Kant Committee’s recommendations, which allowed developers to settle dues by rationalizing interest and penalties.

Despite a lingering dispute regarding the dues still pending in the High Court, the developer opted to move forward to protect the interests of the residents. It has been reported that the developer was already making payments to the Authority “under protest” to ensure the project’s transition. By settling the balance under the new government guidelines, the developer has ensured that Paramount Floraville is no longer under the purview of UP RERA and carries no outstanding financial debt to the city.

The company stated that, prioritising the interests of buyers, it deposited the outstanding amount “under protest” and initiated the registration process, which is now proceeding smoothly. This initiative has provided a definitive path to home ownership for hundreds of families who had been in limbo, signaling a successful end to one of the long-standing stalled registry cases in the Noida real estate market.
