Ahmedabad, May 18, 2026: Ganesh Housing Limited has launched Million Minds Tech City (MMTC), a USD 1.5 billion, 65-acre integrated ecosystem at Vaishnodevi Circle, designed to generate over 70,000 high-skilled jobs and boost Ahmedabad’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) ambitions. As Gujarat’s first IGBC Platinum-rated SEZ IT Park, the “city within a city” features an 18 million sq. ft. master plan, blending 10 million sq. ft. of Grade A office space with premium residential, retail, and hospitality infrastructure. Developed alongside project management partner Tishman Speyer and RSP Architects, Phase 1 (1.3 million sq. ft.) has already secured 8 lakh sq. ft. of leasing momentum from global majors including IBM, TCS, Valtech, Withum, and Searce. The launch also marked the inauguration of the AICTE-approved GREMI City Campus (Ganesh Real Estate Management Institute) to foster an industry-ready workforce, Ganesh Housing Limited said in a press release.

Inaugurating the campus, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, said, “Gujarat has already established itself as one of India’s strongest industrial growth engines, and now the state is moving decisively towards becoming a global hub for technology, innovation and high-skilled services. Projects like Million Minds Tech City will not only create world-class infrastructure and employment opportunities but will also position Ahmedabad alongside the country’s leading technology destinations. Equally important is the launch of GREMI City Campus, which reflects the need to build strong industry-linked talent and knowledge ecosystems that can support Gujarat’s next phase of growth in technology, real estate, infrastructure and innovation-led sectors.”

Highlighting the project’s socio-economic footprint, Shekhar Patel, MD & CEO of Ganesh Housing Ltd. and National President of CREDAI, stated, “Million Minds Tech City is fundamentally an economic growth and employment generation story for Gujarat. We are building an ecosystem that will directly and indirectly generate over 70,000 jobs, enable reverse migration of Gujarat’s talent pool, and strengthen Ahmedabad’s position as a serious destination for global corporations and GCCs. The project’s strategic location brings together a powerful convergence of infrastructure, policy support, connectivity, and skilled talent, creating an ecosystem capable of competing with any established metro market in India. Million Minds Tech City is envisioned as the commercial anchor that integrates these strengths into a future-ready destination for global enterprises and next-generation industries.”

Every aspect of the project from IGBC Platinum-certified buildings and large contiguous office floor plates to sustainability, employee wellbeing, and integrated urban planning – it has been designed keeping the future of work in mind. Our partnerships with globally respected firms such as Tishman Speyer and RSP Architects reflect our commitment to delivering a world-class business environment for enterprises operating out of Gujarat.”

Concluding on the region’s shifting dynamics, Amanvir Patel, Director, Ganesh Housing Ltd., noted, “Million Minds Tech City has been envisioned as a reflection of the new Gujarat that is emerging today — ambitious, future-ready, innovation-led, yet deeply rooted in responsibility and sustainability. Ahmedabad is increasingly becoming a destination where global enterprise, talent, infrastructure and aspiration are converging naturally. Through this development, we wanted to create more than just commercial infrastructure. We wanted to build an integrated ecosystem where people can work, live, innovate and grow together. As India’s innovation economy continues to evolve, we believe Ahmedabad is well-positioned to become one of the country’s most important growth centres for technology, GCCs and future-focused industries.”
