By kavya 2h ago

Bengaluru, July 2, 2026: Banking giant HSBC has finalized a Letter of Intent with the Prestige Group to construct a massive, fully integrated 1.2 million square foot campus on Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road. Dubbed “Prestige JRC Signature Towers,” the development is set to become one of the largest corporate campuses in India, a move that corporate leaders say underscores the financial institution’s enduring commitment to its operations within the country, HSBC said in a press release.

The real estate initiative is designed to consolidate HSBC’s workforce in the region, bringing together employees who are currently scattered across multiple distinct facilities throughout the city. Company officials noted that the single, unified location will foster enhanced collaboration, streamline communication, and build stronger internal networks across various business divisions.

India currently serves as the largest base for HSBC’s Global Service and Technology Centres, housing a workforce of more than 40,000 employees who manage global operations, digital transformations, risk management, and data analytics.

Commenting on the strategic importance of the region, Georges Elhedery, Group CEO of HSBC, said: “India is one of the most important talent centres in the world and continues to be a key market for HSBC. Bringing our colleagues together on one campus will help us move faster, collaborate more closely, and continue developing expertise and talent to provide the best support for our customers.”

Architectural plans for the new hub emphasize modern, flexible work trends alongside a variety of shared corporate amenities. Once completed, the campus will feature high-quality workplace infrastructure, vibrant collaboration areas, a large dining facility, and multi-functional spaces dedicated to town halls and professional development. The site will also offer outdoor community spaces, ample parking, and direct access to the local metro transit system.

Our ambition is to create a high-quality environment that supports HSBC’s customers and businesses.”
