UP RERA Introduces Email Mechanism for Order and Recovery Certificate Status Updates
Lucknow/Gautam Buddh Nagar, August 21, 2026: Allottees and complainants can now obtain information related to the execution of Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) Bench orders and Recovery Certificates through email without visiting the authority’s offices. Homebuyers and complainants can send their case details to the designated email address of the concerned Bench to obtain updates on case status and required procedures, UP RERA said in a press release.
UP RERA came across several cases where allottees or complainants faced difficulties in receiving funds under Recovery Certificates due to non-submission of required affidavits. In many instances, affidavits were not provided on time due to a lack of information or negligence, leading to unnecessary delays in the disbursement process.
Recently, UP RERA informed allottees and complainants regarding Recovery Certificates that they should submit the required affidavit and receive the amount payable under the Recovery Certificate. The authority issued the information to ensure eligible allottees and complainants do not face unnecessary difficulties in receiving the amount due to them.
The Authority appealed to all allottees and complainants to complete the necessary procedure related to the order passed by the RERA Bench, its execution, and the Recovery Certificate issued in their case within the stipulated time. Wherever submission of an affidavit is required, complainants should ensure it is submitted on time, taking particular care that the process of receiving the amount is not affected due to negligence or lack of information.
While sending an email, complainants are advised to clearly mention their case number, project name, promoter’s name, and a brief description of their issue to facilitate the information retrieval process. UP RERA aims to provide allottees and complainants with easy and accessible information related to their cases so that they do not face difficulties in receiving the amount under Recovery Certificates merely due to lack of information or failure to submit the required affidavit on time.
