Seven Greens Commissions 2.7 MW Rooftop Solar Project for North Western Railway
Jaipur, September 3, 2026: Renewable energy solutions provider Seven Greens has completed and commissioned the Jaipur Railway Solar Project, installing 2.7 MW of rooftop solar capacity across the North Western Railway zone, it said in a press release.
The installation spans 23 railway stations along a 350-kilometre corridor covering regions in Rajasthan and Haryana. The initiative aims to lower reliance on fossil-fuel-based grid electricity and reduce operational carbon emissions, contributing to Indian Railways’ goal of transitioning to a net-zero carbon transportation network.
Seven Greens managed the lifecycle of the project, including initial system design, procurement, logistics, installation, and commissioning across active railway sites.

The completion of the deployment expands Seven Greens’ clean energy portfolio within the institutional and public infrastructure sectors as it continues developing distributed solar systems for commercial and government use.
