L&T Power Transmission and Distribution Business Secures Mega EPC Orders

New Delhi, October 5, 2026: The Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business vertical of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured multiple engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) orders across domestic and international markets, according to an official press release issued by the company. The mega orders are aimed at strengthening power transmission infrastructure and enabling the evacuation of renewable energy.

In Saudi Arabia, the PT&D vertical has bagged orders in the 380 kV transmission line and substation segments. These projects are designed to expand transmission capacity and facilitate the integration of renewable energy into the national grid. Meanwhile, in the United Arab Emirates, the business secured a contract to construct 132/11 kV substations alongside associated cabling works.

In the domestic Indian market, L&T won an order from a leading private sector developer to set up a comprehensive transmission system in Visakhapatnam, which includes both transmission lines and substations.
