Amneal Pharmaceuticals Opens New Office in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, October 23, 2026: Amneal Pharmaceuticals inaugurated its new administrative office in Ahmedabad today, strengthening collaboration across its global business and supporting its expanding operations in India, according to a company press release.
Located on Cliantha Road, the new facility represents an investment of approximately Rs 135 crore ($15 million). The office spans roughly 3.35 lakh square feet and will accommodate around 1,200 employees. Designed to bring key teams together, the facility provides administrative infrastructure to support the company’s teams across global research and development, manufacturing, and corporate functions.
Over the years, the U.S.-based biopharmaceutical company has expanded its capabilities in India across manufacturing, research and development, quality, and commercial operations, including a commercial office in Mumbai. These India operations complement the company’s growing manufacturing footprint in the United States and form an integral part of its global network across the United States, India, and Ireland. Recently, the company acquired Kashiv BioSciences to expand its global biosimilar development and manufacturing capabilities.

“This new Ahmedabad office reflects Amneal’s continued investment in the people and capabilities that support its global business. India is an important part of our network, complementing our significant and growing U.S. manufacturing footprint,” said Chirag Patel, Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Amneal. “Across our operations, we are investing in scientific expertise, manufacturing and infrastructure to support sustainable growth and expand access to high-quality, affordable medicines.”

“Our colleagues in India play an important role in advancing Amneal’s research, development, manufacturing and business operations,” said Chintu Patel, Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Amneal. “This new office brings key teams together in a space designed to support collaboration and their continued development. By connecting our people and expertise across our global network, we can strengthen execution, advance increasingly complex medicines and better serve patients.”
Additionally, Amneal is advancing plans for two greenfield manufacturing facilities in Gujarat. These new projects will focus on peptide synthesis and sterile fill-finish manufacturing to support the company’s future product portfolio.
