Abhijit Roy, MD & CEO, Berger Paints India, stated, “We delivered a consistent performance in Q2 which was a seasonally soft quarter in which we achieved a revenue growth of 13.2% on a consolidated basis and 11.9% on a standalone basis for the quarter. For the 6 months ended September’2026 our revenue growth was 12.5% on a consolidated basis and 12.3% on a standalone basis. Operating profit growth was impacted by the sharp rise in raw material costs, the full impact of which was felt in this quarter.”

Roy added, “With no sign of easing the inflationary trend of raw materials, we will implement further rounds of price increases in November and beyond as and when required, in addition to implementing cost efficiency initiatives to ensure stability of our profit margins.”
