Central Park holds plantation drive
On the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, real estate developer Central Park organised a plantation drive at its townships, Flower Valley and Central Park Resorts in Gurugram.
According to a press release, about 150 residents planted trees in a dedicated zone and placed their nametags around the plant to watch them grow. Children planted saplings in planters which they could carry home to nurture, it said further. A horticulture team from Central Park was there to facilitate the plantation.
Amarjit Bakshi, CMD, Central Park, said, “The focal point this year is ecosystem restoration and the best way is to replenish the system with the right kind of flora and fauna. It is an investment for the future and an assurance to the generations that we are trying our best to provide healthy lifestyle to them.”
