Aegeus Technologies Lists on SME Index as Brigade REAP’s First Public Venture

Bengaluru, August 22, 2026: Aegeus Technologies, a provider of robotic solar panel cleaning systems and operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the solar energy sector, announced on Friday, 2026, its public listing on the SME Index. The event marks the first public market debut for a portfolio company backed by real estate accelerator Brigade REAP. Industry observers view the move as a signal of maturing depth across India’s clean-tech and deep-tech startup ecosystems. The company’s listing highlights its ongoing market expansion, growing customer portfolio within solar O&M, and technology-driven operations addressing critical operational infrastructure needs within the national renewable energy transition, Brigade REAP said in a press release.

Commenting on the development, Abhay Garg, Chief Mentor & Head of Brigade REAP, said, “Aegeus Technologies’ listing is a proud moment for Brigade REAP and a validation of the kind of deep-tech, mission-driven companies we mentor. From day one, Aegeus stood out for solving a real, tangible problem in the solar energy space with strong engineering fundamentals and a scalable business model. Seeing them become the first company from our portfolio to list on the stock exchange is a testament to their team’s discipline and execution, and we believe it marks the beginning of many more such milestones for companies within the Brigade REAP ecosystem.”
Headquartered in Bengaluru, Aegeus Technologies operates two dedicated manufacturing facilities where it designs, assembles, and tests autonomous and semi-autonomous robotic equipment. The firm’s product line targets key vulnerabilities in the solar energy value chain through automated panel cleaning and maintenance, enabling asset operators to enhance power output while minimizing water consumption and reliance on manual labor.
Proceeds and access to public markets following the listing are expected to enhance the company’s capital backing. The capital influx will fund ongoing research and development, expand assembly line capacity, and scale operational service coverage across India’s expanding solar power market.
