Ceigall India Limited (CIL) has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Ceigall Infra Projects Private Limited (CIPPL), has been awarded a ₹603-crore contract by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The project involves the construction of a six-lane, access-controlled spur road in Punjab, marking another significant addition to the company’s growing infrastructure portfolio.
The 10.300-km stretch will connect Ch. 15+100 of the Ambala–Chandigarh section of NH-205A to Ch. 2+500 of the Zirakpur Bypass. Developed under the National Highways (Original) program, the contract will be executed through the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The agreement specifies an 18-month construction timeline, to be followed by a 15-year period dedicated to operation and maintenance (O&M).

Commenting on the win, Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman & Managing Director of Ceigall India Limited, emphasized the strategic importance of the deal. “Securing this project reaffirms our position as a trusted partner in India’s highway development and reflects NHAI’s continued trust in Ceigall’s technical capabilities and execution strength. We remain focused on scaling our infrastructure portfolio while consistently delivering high-quality, time-bound projects that improve connectivity and contribute to the nation’s growth agenda,” Sehgal stated.
This latest development reinforces Ceigall’s position as a key player in the expansion of India’s transport network. By securing this high-value bid, the company continues to demonstrate its capacity for executing large-scale, time-sensitive infrastructure projects that align with the national agenda for enhanced regional connectivity.
