Noida, March 3, 2026: Gaurs Group has announced a strategic partnership with Elematic India, the Indian arm of Finland-based Elematic Group, to establish a state-of-the-art precast manufacturing facility in Noida. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalized on February 19, 2026, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Petteri Orpo, Prime Minister of Finland, and the Ambassador of Finland, Mr. Kimmo Lähdevirta. The agreement was signed by Mr. Veshesh Gaur, Director of Gaurs Group, Mr. Chander Dutta, Managing Director of Elematic India, and Mr. Teppo Voutilainen, CEO of Elematic Oyj, Finland, the company said in a press statement.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gaurs Group will invest approximately INR 100 crore in the first phase to set up the Noida plant, which will manufacture advanced precast concrete components including slabs, columns, beams, and walls. The facility is expected to commence operations within six months. Furthermore, the Group has placed an advance order with Jindal Elematic, Alwar, to supply 45,000 modular bathroom units and 10,000 kitchen pods for its ongoing residential developments. This investment is part of a broader INR 250 crore strategy to integrate technology-led construction practices, aimed at reducing project timelines by 30% and shortening overall delivery by six months to a year.

The adoption of precast technology allows key structural and utility components to be manufactured in a controlled off-site environment before being assembled on-site. This methodology is designed to enhance construction quality, optimize labor requirements, and support rapid project execution. Highlighting the importance of this shift, Veshesh Gaur, Director, Gaurs Group, stated: “Construction technology is becoming increasingly important as the scale and complexity of residential developments continue to grow. Our partnership with Elematic will enable us to integrate advanced precast manufacturing into our construction processes, improving efficiency, quality control and project timelines. For Gaursons, this investment reflects a long-term focus on strengthening execution capabilities through modern construction systems and global best practices.”

The partnership also underscores a growing collaboration between Indian real estate and Finnish technological expertise. Chander Dutta, Managing Director of Elematic India, remarked: “We are delighted to formalise our partnership with Gaurs Group. This Rs 100 crore facility in Noida will not only offer world-class Finnish technology to the Group but will also demonstrate how advanced precast methods, including the production of modular pods, can raise the bar of the ultra-luxury housing segment through superior quality and faster execution.”

Gaurs Group has a consistent history of prioritizing technology-driven construction, having previously invested nearly INR 200 crore in advanced shuttering systems from South Korea to support the timely delivery of major projects like Gaur City and Gaur Yamuna City. This latest move follows a recent technology evaluation visit by a Gaurs Group delegation to Finland. With the demand for high-quality housing in India continuing to rise, this collaboration is expected to significantly enhance the Group’s execution capability and support the efficient delivery of large-scale residential projects.
