HMG Stones Unveils ‘Megaphone’ – A Landmark Experience Center in Jigani
Bengaluru, April 9, 2026: HMG Stones, a global player in the natural stone industry, has announced the opening of “Megaphone by HMG,” a groundbreaking 6,000 sq. ft. experience center in Jigani. Designed as a “Stone Theatre,” the facility moves away from traditional showroom formats to offer an immersive, museum-inspired gallery that showcases the intersection of architectural innovation and material storytelling, the company said in a press release.
The center features a striking design influenced by the constructivist language of Alexander Rodchenko, anchored by a 50-foot roof height and a façade of matt-black aluminium and corten steel. Inside, the layout is organized into eight descending bays where large-format slabs are displayed vertically across ground, first, and mezzanine levels. This arrangement allows architects and homeowners to experience the scale and texture of the materials through carefully curated light and perspective.

Anand Reddy M G, Founder & CEO of HMG Stones, collaborated with Italian architects to conceptualize the space as an educational and inspirational destination. Discussing the vision behind the project, Reddy stated, “Megaphone by HMG is our answer to how people want to experience stone today, visually arresting, education-first, and deeply connected to manufacturing capability. By creating a destination that is as much about inspiration as it is about selection, we’re strengthening HMG’s presence in key micro-markets around Bengaluru and building a touchpoint that converts curiosity into confident, design-led decisions.”
The facility highlights several industry-first displays, including a dedicated Backlit Onyx Zone and a mezzanine level featuring 10mm Quartzite. This specific quartzite, processed using advanced multi-wire saw technology, offers increased translucency and showcases large semi-precious sediments. Visitors can also explore a variety of specialty finishes, ranging from traditional polished and honed surfaces to unique textures like “Baby Bamboo” and “Chiselled,” providing a comprehensive look at real-world application possibilities.
Beyond acting as a display gallery, the center is designed to serve as a collaborative hub for the design community. Reddy further noted the shift in how material is presented, stating, “With Megaphone, we wanted to treat stone not as a commodity, but as an exhibit. The architecture invites visitors to pause, observe scale and texture, and move through the space as they would in a gallery, discovering material through light, proportion and perspective.”
The strategic location in Jigani allows for quick evaluation and guided consultations for project managers and designers before they move to deeper factory-level selections. Pavana Reddy, Head of Marketing and Communications at HMG Stones, emphasized the efficiency of the new format, saying, “Designers and buyers told us they want a space that both surprises and helps them make decisions faster. Megaphone bridges inspiration and manufacture: visitors leave not only excited about possibilities, but clear on feasibility and lead times.”
The launch of Megaphone also underscores HMG’s commitment to operational excellence, backed by ISO 9001 and Japanese 5S practices. By prioritizing traceability and quality control within a design-forward environment, the company aims to solidify its positioning as a premium, sustainability-aware provider in the competitive natural stone market, the press release added.
