Kaushalya Logistics Boosts Cement Logistics with New Ahmednagar Depot Partnering Adani Cement, Ventures into Freight Forwarding
Aug 6, 2024: Kaushalya Logistics Limited (KLL) announced two expansions in its operations. KLL has officially launched its new cement depot in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. This strategic development enhances KLL’s logistics services for Adani Cement, including rake point operations, depot management, and secondary transportation. The new depot is designed to handle approximately 120,000 metric tons of cement annually, supporting ACC and Ambuja Cement brands.
The Ahmednagar depot will oversee the complete logistics chain, from rail movement to depot operations and transportation to secondary distribution points. This all-encompassing approach is set to streamline the supply chain and boost efficiency, underscoring KLL’s commitment to providing exceptional logistics solutions in the cement sector.
KLL also announced its new vertical in freight forwarding under Full Truck Load (FTL) services, effective August 3, 2024. The company has commenced operations with two key clients: VMS Equipment Pvt Ltd, a group company of ACE, and Epicu Beverages Pvt Ltd, a bottler for Parle Agro.
