New Delhi, July 20, 2026: The Metals & Minerals business vertical of Indian multinational enterprise Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured multiple engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) orders categorized in the “Mega” range—valued between ₹10,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore—from key domestic metals and mining organizations. The newly acquired packages span the mining, ferrous, and non-ferrous sectors, supporting ongoing national capacity expansion initiatives across India, L&T said in a press release.

Among the major contracts, L&T was awarded Package #BE-01C for an 18 MTPA Iron Ore Handling Plant in Chhattisgarh by India’s largest public-sector iron ore producer as part of its strategy to reach 100 MTPA production capacity by 2030. The project scope encompasses the complete design, engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of a downhill conveyor system, screening plant, stockpile yard equipment, a Rapid Wagon Loading System (RWLS), and related auxiliaries.
