Mayfair Housing Appoints Anthony Nelson Gonsalves As Chief Technical Officer To Fortify Technical Capabilities And Drive Operational Excellence
Mumbai, July 2026: Mayfair Housing, a Mumbai-based premium real estate developer with a legacy spanning over six decades, has announced the appointment of Anthony Nelson Gonsalves as its Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Bringing more than 30 years of civil engineering, project management, and real estate development experience, Gonsalves will head the company’s technical function, focusing on engineering standards, construction quality, operational efficiency, and project delivery schedules, Mayfair Housing said in a press release.
The executive appointment comes as Mayfair Housing prepares to expand its development footprint across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). In his role as CTO, Gonsalves will oversee project planning, structural engineering, design coordination, construction quality assurance, and safety protocols across the organization’s residential portfolio. He will also work with cross-functional teams to implement international best practices and streamline delivery frameworks.

Prior to joining Mayfair Housing, Gonsalves held senior engineering and project leadership positions at prominent real estate and construction entities, including Gera Developers, Dynamix Group, AECOM, and K Raheja Group. Over his three-decade career, he has managed large-scale residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments across India and the Middle East. His project portfolio includes the design closure of Adventz Tower in Dubai, Riviera Tower in Sharjah, Pullman, Pride, and Ibis Hotels in Delhi, alongside residential projects such as Verandas and Suncity in Gurugram, and Avanya, Parkwoods, and Divum in Mumbai.
A PMP-certified professional, Gonsalves holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Walchand Institute of Technology and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Mayfair Housing noted that his combined background in civil engineering, project execution, and construction law will play a key role in strengthening the company’s technical governance and supporting its long-term expansion plans in the region.
