The barricades will be placed along the busy Teynampet to Mount Road stretch to help regulate vehicle movement and strengthen ongoing road-safety measures. Police officials said the barricades would be placed at key junctions and high-traffic locations to control over-speeding, improve lane discipline and prevent road mishaps.
They added that the support from Navin’s will significantly aid day-to-day traffic management and enhance public awareness on safe commuting. The police department expressed appreciation for the contribution, noting that such initiatives play an important role in improving overall traffic safety in the city.
