Nemetschek And Novatr Join Hands To Build India’s Industry-Ready AEC Workforce
New Delhi, July 21, 2026: Nemetschek Group, India, a provider of software solutions for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AEC/O) industry, has entered into a strategic partnership with AEC-tech education platform Novatr to strengthen the country’s digital construction talent ecosystem. Formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by offering students and professionals hands-on training in globally recognised Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies and digital construction workflows, Nemetschek Group said in a press release.
The partnership arrives as India’s built environment undergoes rapid expansion, driven by over ₹111 lakh crore in planned investments under the National Infrastructure Pipeline and projections positioning India’s construction market as the world’s third largest by 2030. With BIM adoption accelerating across government infrastructure, commercial real estate, manufacturing facilities, and smart city developments, the industry faces an urgent demand for digitally skilled engineering talent.
Despite producing a vast pool of architecture and engineering graduates annually, an industry-readiness gap remains prevalent due to a lack of practical exposure to modern digital construction tools. The collaboration addresses this challenge by integrating Nemetschek’s software suite—including Graphisoft Archicad, Allplan, Bluebeam, Solibri, and Vectorworks—into Novatr’s project-based, cohort-driven learning programmes. The initiative will feature dedicated certification tracks, allowing learners to build practical skills through real-world projects and exposure to standard digital workflows.

In addition to software training, the program will provide learners with industry-recognised certifications, mentorship opportunities, live project experience, and placement assistance through Novatr’s network of hiring partners. The initiative is structured both for fresh graduates entering the workforce and working professionals seeking to upskill into advanced BIM and digital engineering roles.

By combining Nemetschek’s software ecosystem with Novatr’s training platform—which has instructed over 10,000 professionals across more than 50 countries—the collaboration seeks to build a scalable pathway for India’s next-generation digital construction workforce.
