NH24 corridor gets MAJOR BOOST by Manoj Gaur

Manoj-Gaur

The widening of NH24 will improve the connectivity manifolds to different parts of NCR and it will become a major connecting point between Meerut and Delhi. The highway has great connectivity to

National Capital, different parts of NCR and many micro pockets of Ghaziabad like Raj Nagar Extension, Siddhartha Vihar, Vaishali, Indirapuram, Crossings Republik and Kaushambi.

The widening of this highway was a long standing demand of commuters and residents of these corridors which has finally come true. So far, traffic jams and congestions had been the major problems on this stretch which will be sorted once the project comes to an end.

Measuring the potential of the area, huge number of group housing projects, multi-storey apartments, villas, residential plots as well as commercial properties have come up on the both the sides of highway. The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the expansion of ambitious Delhi-Meerut Expressway on December 31, 2015. A total fund amounting to Rs.7,566 crores has been allocated for construction of 28-Km long 14 lane Delhi-Dasna stretch in addition to construction of 46-Km long six-lane Dasna-Meerut stretch of Delhi-Meerut Expressway. The 22-Km long Dasna-Hapur Section of NH24 will also be upgraded to six lanes.

The widening will significantly improve the ease of commuting for people living in Delhi, Noida Ghaziabad and other parts of NCR. Real estate market of the areas lying in and around NH24 is expected to grow leaps and bounds with this development plan. Major pockets of NCR lying close to NH24 are Crossing Republik, Raj Nagar Extension, Indirapuram Vaishali, Kaushambi besides various other parts of UP and Delhi.

Realty sector seems to shine high once work on this project is complete. Many residential and commercial properties have started budding on this stretch due to the close propinquity to Delhi and different parts of NCR. With the widening of NH24, connectivity would improve manifolds and it will become lot easier to commute without much traffic troubles. The properties coming up along this stretch will also get great deal of price appreciation and improved demand from investors as well as end-users.

Moreover, work on a link road connecting NH24 and NH58 is also going on to decongest traffic on GT Road, Mohan Nagar T-point and the Vaishali-Mohan Nagar Link Road. Once both these projects are complete it will be a win-win situation for the commuters as well as people residing along these segments.
