Prateek Group and Sheroes Café Partner for “Planting for Healing” Initiative on World Earth Day
Noida, April 23, 2026: In a unique commemoration of World Earth Day, the Prateek Group collaborated with Sheroes Café to launch “Planting for Healing,” a community engagement program that weaves environmental stewardship with social inclusion. The initiative, held at the Sheroes Hangout Café in Noida, sought to move beyond traditional corporate social responsibility by fostering genuine human connection alongside ecological action, Prateek Group said in a press release.
The event brought together representatives from the Prateek Group and acid attack survivors who manage and work at the café. Eschewing the standard practice of one-time sapling drives, the organizers introduced large, mobile planters strategically placed within the active spaces of the café and corporate offices. This design ensures that the greenery receives ongoing care and remains a visible, lasting reminder of the day’s partnership, rather than a fleeting gesture.
Central to the program was the active participation of the survivors, who led the plantation process and engaged with guests in an atmosphere of mutual dignity. By centering the experience on shared labor and conversation, the initiative effectively shifted the narrative from a charitable act to a participative community experience. This focus on inclusion highlighted the resilience of the Sheroes team while emphasizing the importance of creating accessible, supportive environments.
