U.P. RERA Awards Certificates to Agents of 21st and 22nd Training Batches
Lucknow/Gautam Buddha Nagar, December 12, 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (U.P. RERA) awarded certificates on Friday to successful candidates from the 21st and 22nd batches of its Agent Training & Certification Programme at its headquarters in Lucknow. On this occasion, Authority Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy handed over certificates to 82 real estate agents.
The training programme was launched for the first time in December 2024 at Literacy House, Lucknow, and has since been conducted regularly across the state. The programme is mandatory for all agents—whether currently registered with U.P. RERA or seeking new registration.
The four-day training covers detailed sessions during the first three days on the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA), consumer rights, legal aspects of property transactions, and the responsibilities of real estate agents. The fourth day comprises a written examination, and certificates are awarded only to those who pass.
The training fee is INR 6,000, and applications are accepted online through U.P. RERA’s official website.
So far, 26 batches of training have been conducted. A total of 2,021 candidates registered, of which 1,087 participated in the programme. Results up to the 22nd batch have been released, and 863 candidates have successfully passed the examination. The programme continues to build a pool of trained and qualified agents who will strengthen transparency and accountability within Uttar Pradesh’s real estate sector.
Participants have also given positive feedback, stating that the course is highly informative and has enhanced their professionalism and confidence when dealing with homebuyers. Many appreciated that the sessions are conducted by senior U.P. RERA officials and subject experts, ensuring practical and relevant learning.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy emphasized that trained agents play a crucial role in ensuring transparency and accountability in the real estate ecosystem. He said agents are not merely intermediaries but responsible stakeholders who safeguard consumer interests. Post-training, agents are better equipped to guide buyers and investors, reducing disputes and strengthening consumer trust. He added that U.P. RERA is committed to further improving the training system and may soon introduce online modules to make the programme accessible to aspiring agents across the state.
Several senior officials were present on the occasion, including Principal Advisor Abrar Ahmed, Finance Consultant Sudhanshu Tripathi, Legal Advisor Chandan Kumar Singh, Assistant Engineer Arun Tiwari, Assistant Director Amreesh Kumar, and Media Consultants Pranjal Dixit and Akash Yadav.
