UP-RERA Launches 51st Real Estate Agent Training Programme in Greater Noida

Lucknow/Gautam Buddh Nagar, October 8, 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has commenced its 51st Real Estate Agent Training Programme at the NIET campus in Greater Noida, according to an official press release. Organised in collaboration with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, the four-day programme aims to equip real estate professionals with comprehensive knowledge of applicable rules, procedures, and industry best practices. A total of 51 participants from various districts of Uttar Pradesh are attending the session. Candidates who successfully complete the training and pass the subsequent examination will become certified real estate agents.
The programme was inaugurated by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Executive Officer, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, alongside Anshuman Singh, Revenue Recovery Officer, and Pankaj Saxena, Deputy Secretary. Sanjay Bhoosreddy, Chairman, UP RERA, joined the ceremony virtually. The session was also attended virtually from Lucknow by Mahendra Verma, Secretary, Abrar Ahmad, Principal Advisor, Sudhanshu Tripathi, Finance Consultant, K.K. Singh, Joint Secretary, and Amrish Kumar, Assistant Director (Systems), while Prakash Pandey represented Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University in person.

Addressing the session, Sanjay Bhoosreddy, Chairman, UP RERA, said, “this training and certification programme play an important role in making the real estate sector in Uttar Pradesh more transparent, responsible and professional.” He noted that the training provides aspiring agents with detailed knowledge of the RERA Act to help them discharge their duties effectively. He added that while historical challenges affected promoters, agents, and homebuyers, the establishment of RERA has enhanced transparency, accountability, and homebuyer confidence. He stated that “UPRERA objective is not limited to ensuring regulatory compliance, but also to create a real estate sector in Uttar Pradesh that is transparent, trusted and gives priority to the interests of homebuyers.”

During the first-day technical sessions, Anshuman Singh, Revenue Recovery Officer, detailed the provisions of the RERA Act and regulatory frameworks. Raghavendra presented on project registration, promoter responsibilities, and project accounts, while Ganesh Mishra conducted a session on the UP RERA web portal operations.
Training and certification are mandatory for real estate agents prior to registration. With the commencement of this batch, UP RERA has conducted 50 training batches across Lucknow and Greater Noida, with over 3,000 registered candidates, over 2,100 training completers, and around 2,000 certified agents following results declared through the 47th batch.
