Vegas Mall Hosts Swachh Bharat Mahotsav

Vegas, Dwarka’s shopping mall, hosted a Swachh Bharat Mahotsav in association with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Najafgarh zone. The event brought together the community in a celebration of cleanliness and environmental awareness. The event was graced by the Deputy Commissioner of Najafgarh zone.
The Swachh Bharat Mahotsav featured a range of activities, including a Nukkad Natak performance by Government School teachers that emphasised the importance of the Swachhta Abhiyan and the need to reduce single-use plastic. The highlight of the evening was a performance by Singer Maithili Thakur, an ex-student of MCD Najafgarh zone and the brand ambassador of MCD.
Attendees also witnessed special showcases of music performances and art displays. Certificates of appreciation were distributed to recognise the outstanding efforts of individuals and organisations in promoting cleanliness and sustainability.

Ravinder Choudhary, VP, Vegas, expressed their enthusiasm for the Swachh Bharat Mahotsav, saying, “We are delighted to have hosted the Swachh Bharat Mahotsav at Vegas. It was indeed a wholesome activity, blending Nukkad Natak, music performances, and art, showcasing the community’s talent and commitment to a cleaner and greener environment.
