YEIDA in Talks With Accuprec Research Labs to Develop World-Class Lab Infrastructure
Noida, February 25, 2026: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has taken a significant step toward making India a global hub for healthcare manufacturing. Following strategic discussions at the WHX Dubai summit, YEIDA officials have discussed with Accuprec Research Labs, a premier NABL-accredited testing agency, to develop world-class laboratory infrastructure.
The collaboration focuses on establishing ASCA (Accreditation Scheme for Conformity Assessment) Labs within the Medical Devices Park in Sector 28, YEIDA. By adhering to ASCA standards—a framework recognized by international regulators like the USFDA—the park will provide manufacturers with testing data that is accepted globally, significantly reducing the time and cost required for international market approvals.
Following an initial meeting between Dr. Manish Rachchh (Director, Accuprec) and a senior YEIDA delegation in Dubai, the Accuprec technical team conducted a comprehensive site visit to the Yamuna Authority. The visit, led by Shailendra Kumar Bhatia (IAS) ACEO Yamuna Authority, Praveen Kumar Mittal, Executive Director, Export Promotion Council and the Project Department, included:
- Project Briefing: A technical presentation by consultants (EY) detailing the Common Scientific Facilities (CSF) and the advanced equipment currently being procured.
- Infrastructure Audit: A physical walkthrough of the upcoming facilities to ensure the laboratory design integrates seamlessly with the park’s existing utility and engineering framework.
Dual-Phase Investment Strategy
Accuprec has committed to a ‘Hybrid Investment Plan’ to ensure the park reaches peak operational capacity rapidly:
- Brownfield Upgrade: Enhancing and managing the current Common Scientific Facilities to meet stringent ASCA and international benchmarks.
- Greenfield Development: Designing and constructing specialized new testing modules for sectors not covered by the current infrastructure.
“The inclusion of ASCA-certified testing within our Medical Devices Park is a game-changer. Our discussions with Accuprec ensures that every device manufactured here is tested to the highest global standards right at the source,” said Shailendra Bhatia.
Timeline and Next Steps
Both parties have established a one-month timeline for Accuprec to complete a detailed technical feasibility study. This report will outline the specific equipment, layout, and investment roadmap for both the Brownfield and Greenfield projects.
YEIDA’s Medical Devices Park is a flagship industrial zone in Uttar Pradesh, providing a 360-degree ecosystem for the medical technology industry, including advanced manufacturing units and common testing centers.
Based in Ahmedabad, Accuprec is a leading CRO providing comprehensive testing services for pharmaceuticals and medical devices, holding numerous national and international accreditations.
