Sunday Hotels Taps Industry Veteran Firoz Khan to Lead India Business Development and Channel Strategy

New Delhi, May 8, 2026: Sunday Hotels, the global hospitality brand under Prism and backed by SoftBank, has announced the appointment of Firoz Khan as Director and Channel Head – Business Development for India. The strategic move is designed to bolster the brand’s leadership team as it intensifies its focus on partnership-led growth and market expansion across the subcontinent. In his new capacity, Khan is tasked with spearheading the company’s channel strategy, identifying high-potential markets, and establishing a scalable growth framework to enhance the brand’s portfolio, Sunday Hotels said in a press release..
Khan joins the hospitality major with over 16 years of specialized experience in market entry strategies, brand positioning, and real estate advisory. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for navigating complex real estate ecosystems across Tier I, II, and III cities. His background includes significant tenures at leading global firms such as Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, and JLL, where he cultivated long-standing relationships with developers and institutional stakeholders to facilitate large-scale deal-making and brand sustainability.
Immediately prior to this appointment, Khan served as Vice President and Head of North India Business at PPZ. In that role, he was responsible for driving regional growth and asset acquisition while overseeing a comprehensive suite of operations, including leasing, marketing, and budgeting. He also previously held the role of Associate Director at Colliers International, where he was instrumental in helping retail giants and emerging startups, such as Walmart, Metro Cash & Carry, and PVR INOX, structure their expansion roadmaps and market entry plans.
