24-Year-Old Chandigarh Entrepreneur Disrupts Real Estate Sector With AI PropTech Start-Up

Chandigarh, May 16, 2026: While global real estate continues to rely heavily on traditional brokers and middlemen, 24-year-old Chandigarh-native Aagman Bhatia is pioneering a direct-to-consumer shift using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR). Through his proptech start-up, Dooritt, Bhatia is targeting real estate—one of the world’s most unorganized industries—at a time when major tech giants remain focused on IT and healthcare.

At a press conference in Chandigarh, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer (CPO) Aagman Bhatia, alongside Co-Founder and CEO K.S. Bhatia, announced a major expansion of Dooritt’s immersive technology and physical Experience Centres. K.S. Bhatia, a serial entrepreneur, previously disrupted the pump industry with Pumpkart a decade ago.

Detailing the workflow, Aagman Bhatia said, “Dooritt aims to bring virtual experience at the customer’s doorstep. A prospective customer can book property virtually from his or her home free of cost through the Dooritt App. Then the customer’s partner visits him or her with a Meta headset and gives a virtual experience through this meta headset for a number of properties of their choice area or city.”

The platform integrates an proprietary AI named OORA to handle customer queries and logistics. “Customers can speak with AI and can ask anything related to the project like rooms’ size, availability of flats, amenities, nearby areas, appreciation, AQI, schools nearby & more. Prospective customers are able to do a comparison of properties after taking a virtual tour through the comparison chart in the App. Then AI’s OORA plans the customer’s site visit and shares a plan on Google Map. So with the support of Google map, customers visit 5-7 properties in a matter of days & close the deal, something that used to take usually 2-3 months,” Aagman explained.

The founders unveiled plans to launch their first physical Experience Centre in Noida by mid-June, followed by expansion into Chandigarh, Shimla, and Gurgaon. Commenting on the scale of these upcoming hubs, K.S. Bhatia said, “These centres will provide immersive, large-format property exploration powered by AI, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR). Our experience centres will offer what we describe as an ‘IMAX-Like’ real estate experience.”

The start-up is also introducing an indoor navigation system designed for malls, airports, and commercial buildings—a technology currently limited in use to the Asia-Pacific region and Dubai malls. Highlighting the speed of the software, Aagman added, “Our platform can deliver insights equivalent to six months of market research in just 10 minutes. This innovation is expected to significantly accelerate decision-making for both homebuyers and real estate investors.”

Addressing the startup’s roots, K.S. Bhatia noted that Dooritt originated in Mohali within the Chandigarh capital region before moving its operations to Noida due to ecosystem limitations. “There is a need for a stronger start-up ecosystem in the region. There is limited support for start-ups and low awareness of emerging technologies such as AI, AR and VR in the Chandigarh region. We want to make tricity a hub for AI driven innovations and that is why we have decided to set up an experience centre here,” he stated.

Dooritt currently operates in India and Dubai, with upcoming international expansions slated for Pattaya, Phuket, and Bali. Emphasizing their long-term vision, K.S. Bhatia concluded, “Dooritt is positioning itself as a globally scalable platform emerging from India’s growing technology ecosystem. We are making global platforms from India in keeping with the mission of PM Narendra Modi.”
