Kirloskar Industries Reports First Quarter FY 2027 Consolidated Revenue of Rs 1,799 Crore
New Delhi, August 14, 2026: Kirloskar Industries Ltd (KIL) has announced its financial results for the first quarter of the financial year ending March 31, 2027, recording a consolidated total income of Rs 1,798.7 crore. This reflects a 5% year-over-year growth compared to Rs 1,716.4 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Consolidated profit after tax before other comprehensive income for continuing operations stood at Rs 79.2 crore, compared to Rs 238.2 crore in Q1 FY 2026, a figure that had previously been bolstered by the recognition of deferred tax on unabsorbed depreciation and carry forward losses from the Oliver and Adicca merger, KIL said in a press release.

On a standalone basis, the company reported a total income of Rs 16.7 crore for the quarter, marking a 12% increase from Rs 14.9 crore recorded in Q1 FY 2026. Standalone profit after tax for the period came in at Rs 7.1 crore, compared to Rs 7.8 crore in the same period last year.
Commenting on the results, George Verghese, Managing Director of KIL, said, “Kirloskar Industries delivered a resilient performance in Q1, with consolidated revenue growing by 5% year-over-year to ₹1,799 crore, and PAT at ₹ 79.2 crore. Our performance this quarter was underpinned by strong contributions from our core businesses, reflecting the strength of our diversified group structure.”
He added, “Kirloskar Ferrous, our subsidiary, demonstrated continued operational resilience with 4% year-over-year revenue growth, led by robust momentum in its Castings and Steel businesses, which recorded volume growth of 18% and 13% respectively on the back of strong automotive and precision engineering demand. On the real estate front, our Avante Business Park project continues to progress as planned, reinforcing our commitment to disciplined execution.”
