Orris Infrastructure and Godrej Properties Settle Gurugram Project Dispute
Gurugram, September 2, 2026: Orris Infrastructure and Godrej Properties Limited have reached an amicable settlement regarding the “Godrej Air” project in Gurugram, resolving an ongoing dispute between the long-standing real estate partners, Orris Infrastructure said in a press release.
Following the agreement, the Bombay High Court ordered the immediate and unconditional release of Amit Gupta, Managing Director of Orris Infrastructure, on August 25, 2026. A single-judge bench of Justice Milind N. Jadhav, Judge at Bombay High Court, directed the immediate release in view of the formal Settlement Agreement executed between the two entities.
The legal dispute originated earlier this year from a complaint concerning statutory filings for the limited liability partnership (LLP) established for the joint development of the Gurugram residential project. During the court hearing, Amit Desai, Senior Advocate appearing for Orris Infrastructure, informed the bench of the signed settlement and requested the release of the executive. Abad Ponda, Senior Advocate appearing for Godrej Properties, confirmed the settlement to the court and stated that the company had no objection to the release.
The settlement allows both organizations to move past the legal dispute while continuing their operations. Orris Infrastructure confirmed that its business operations and development projects remained operational throughout the proceedings, emphasizing that customer delivery remains its primary focus.
