It is a wrong perception that DDA’s land pooling policy would dampen the sector of NCR. While Gurgaon and Noida may have initially flourished because of sparse availability in Delhi, the NCR cities now have a life of their own. At the same time its very late decision to reverse that but surely opening of new areas in Delhi might slow the pace of growth in prices. Noida and Gurgaon are now centred around large-scale economic activity, each of them, including Delhi, will compete with each other and people will choose the best option.
