New Delhi, May 4, 2026: WeWork India, a leading operator of premium flexible workspaces, announced the further expansion of its National Capital Region (NCR) footprint today with the opening of WeWork Worldmark 6 in Aerocity. The new facility spans approximately 1.1 lakh square feet on the third floor of the Worldmark 6 building, adding more than 1,400 desks to the company’s regional inventory. This launch marks WeWork India’s 17th center in the NCR, a move that comes as the Indian flexible workspace market surpasses the 100 million square foot milestone.

The choice of Aerocity as a location reflects the area’s transformation into a global business district. Situated in close proximity to Indira Gandhi International Airport and the Airport Express Line metro, the micro-market has become a preferred hub for multinational corporations and Global Capability Centres (GCCs). The region’s appeal is bolstered by a sophisticated ecosystem of high-end hospitality, retail, and security infrastructure, making it a strategic choice for enterprises seeking scale and connectivity.

Arnav S. Gusain, Chief of Supply at WeWork India and CEO of Rivet by WeWork India, noted that the project is a response to a fundamental change in how corporations view their office needs. “Aerocity is no longer just a well-connected business district, it is emerging as a strategic node for enterprise-led growth in NCR. We are seeing a clear shift in demand towards high-quality, well-located assets that can support scale, speed, and evolving ways of working. The launch of WeWork Worldmark 6 is a direct response to this shift, and we are already witnessing strong demand and early traction for this centre,” Gusain stated.

Gusain further emphasized the long-term role of such premium hubs, adding, “It reflects how occupiers, particularly large enterprises and GCCs, are increasingly integrating flexible workspaces into their core real estate strategy, rather than viewing them as ancillary. At WeWork India, we are focused on expanding our presence in the right micro-markets at the right time, with the right product. As the market matures and demand continues to increase, premium, well-connected hubs like Aerocity will play a critical role in shaping the future of work in Delhi-NCR.”

The newly opened center is equipped with a suite of enterprise-ready features, including specialized collaboration zones, wellness areas, and technology-enabled meeting rooms. Beyond the physical workspace, members have access to administrative support, curated food and beverage options, and community programming aimed at fostering productivity. The facility is designed to accommodate a wide range of clients, from solopreneurs and startups to Fortune 500 companies.

With this latest opening, WeWork India strengthens its standing in the competitive Delhi-NCR market, which currently trails only Bengaluru in total flexible workspace inventory. The company now operates over 1.21 lakh desks across eight cities nationwide. By focusing on key commercial hubs like Aerocity, WeWork India continues to position itself as a critical partner for organizations looking to scale with agility in a rapidly maturing real estate landscape.
