Chikkamagaluru, March 23, 2026:

Bengaluru-based real estate developer Agrocorp has officially entered the destination holiday home market with the launch of “Vacation Village,” a premium second-home community situated in the heart of Karnataka’s coffee country. The project, sprawling across 31 acres in Hebbali along Mallenahalli Road, features a planned saleable area of 0.50 million sq. ft. and carries an estimated revenue potential of ₹200 crore, the company said in a press statement.

The development marks a strategic shift for Agrocorp, which has spent over a decade specializing in countryside and farmhouse communities. The first phase of the project will introduce 260 residential plots within a master-planned layout, located just 12 minutes from the Chikkamagaluru city center. Positioned near the Western Ghats and the prominent Mullayanagiri peak, the site also sits adjacent to the upcoming Marriott Resort & Spa, a move expected to bolster local tourism and property values.

Under the project’s structured framework, buyers will adhere to specific architectural guidelines designed to maintain a cohesive aesthetic while allowing for flexible construction timelines.

Ayan Nagpal, Director at Agrocorp

Ayan Nagpal, Director at Agrocorp, emphasized the vision behind the new venture, stating, “Vacation Village represents an extension of our work in nature-led communities. The focus is on developing second-home projects that combine residential use with planned infrastructure and natural surroundings.”

The company has already seen significant early interest, with approximately 10 percent of the inventory booked prior to the formal launch. Plots in the community are priced starting at ₹50 lakh. According to leadership, this project serves as a blueprint for a larger national rollout.

Arush Nagpal, Director at Agrocorp

Arush Nagpal, Director at Agrocorp, noted, “The approach with Vacation Village is to create planned holiday home developments with defined architectural and community frameworks, with a view to building a portfolio across different regions.”

Looking ahead, Agrocorp has outlined an ambitious five-year expansion strategy to bring the Vacation Village model to other high-demand tourism hubs. The developer is currently evaluating potential sites in Srinagar, Wayanad, and Goa as it seeks to capitalize on the growing domestic appetite for managed leisure properties.
