S&P Global Opens New Hub in Downtown Gurugram to House 3,500 Employees
Gurugram, April 16, 2026: S&P Global has opened a new 190,000-square-foot office in Downtown Gurugram, marking an expansion of its operations in India. The new facility will accommodate more than 3,500 employees working in technology, data, operations, and customer support. This opening brings the company’s total workforce in India to over 16,000 people, it said in a press release.
The office was inaugurated by a group of senior executives, including Saugata Saha, Yann Le Pallec, and Seth Fox. The workspace is designed for a hybrid work model and includes specific areas intended to improve employee productivity and health. Features of the new hub include a podcast studio, a library, a gym, and a cafeteria that offers various dietary options. The facility also includes a dedicated room for client presentations and collaborative technology workshops.

Saugata Saha, President of S&P Global Market Intelligence, noted the strategic importance of the region during the event. “India is poised for growth and remains one of the best performing major economies in the world. It is an extremely important hub for S&P Global with exceptional talent that is fundamental to our global strategy,” Saha said.

The design of the office focuses on sustainability and employee comfort, incorporating eco-friendly materials and specialized spaces such as nap pods and a music jamming room. The company stated that the new location is intended to be a central point for its various divisions, including Ratings, Market Intelligence, and Energy, while complementing the existing presence of its subsidiary, Crisil.
