L&T Realty Debuts in NCR with Major Gurugram Land Acquisition
New Delhi, April 29, 2026: L&T Realty Properties Ltd (LTRPL) has announced the successful acquisition of a 100 per cent stake in the Delhi-based International Green Scapes Ltd (IGSL). This strategic acquisition provides the L&T subsidiary with direct access to 20 acres of prime land located in Gurugram, marking the company’s inaugural entry into the NCR micro-market. The site is expected to significantly bolster L&T’s real estate portfolio, boasting a total development potential of approximately 3.6 million square feet, the company said in a press release.
The expansion comes on the heels of a highly active fiscal year for the firm’s real estate arms. During FY 2025-26, LTRPL and L&T Realty Developers Ltd have cumulatively secured land parcels across the major hubs of Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. These combined acquisitions represent an aggregate development potential of 3 million square feet, ensuring a robust pipeline of projects over the medium-term as the company focuses on the urban-premium and luxury segments.
In a bid to streamline operations and maximize market impact, L&T has confirmed it is currently in the process of consolidating its various realty businesses into a single, unified entity. While this restructuring remains subject to the necessary regulatory approvals, the move is intended to create a future-ready organization capable of capitalizing on the rapid growth within India’s property sector.
Reflecting on these significant milestones, S N Subrahmanyan, Chairman & Managing Director, L&T, emphasized the structural shifts currently redefining the industry. “India’s Real Estate market is transitioning into an organised, transparent and an institutionally funded ecosystem, with both residential and commercial segments poised for growth over the next decade. L&T Realty is building a substantial development pipeline through disciplined and proactive land acquisitions and joint development partnerships,” he stated.
