Felix Plaza Launches ‘Feathers of Freedom Campaign’ to Celebrate Independence Day

Gurugram, August 12, 2026: Felix Plaza, an emerging retail and lifestyle destination located in Sector 82A on National Highway 48, has launched its Independence Day celebration under the banner ‘Feathers of Freedom’. Designed around themes of freedom, community, and national pride, the month-long campaign integrates art, entrepreneurship, family engagement, and interactive entertainment across its retail space, Felix Plaza said in a press release.
The festivities commenced on August 1 with the unveiling of ‘Peacock of Pride’, a floral installation inspired by the Indian tricolour and the Ashoka Chakra. Designed as an interactive visual attraction and photo point for visitors, the installation embodies the central themes of unity and pride, and will remain showcased at the main mall atrium through August 15.

Highlighting the vision behind the initiative, Chirag Desai, Centre Head – Mall at Felix Plaza, said, “At Felix Plaza, we believe celebrations become more meaningful when they bring people together. Through ‘Feathers of Freedom’, we have brought together art, entrepreneurship, creativity and family experiences under one umbrella, connecting each experience to the spirit of freedom, pride, community and celebration. We aim to create a month-long celebration where visitors and families can participate, connect and create memorable moments together.”
As part of the core Independence Day programming on August 15 and 16, Felix Plaza will partner with the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) to host a women-led entrepreneurial showcase. The event will feature 15 women-owned brands specializing in home décor, sustainable fashion, and organic skincare, along with dedicated AWWA stalls and panel discussions focusing on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, mental well-being, and holistic health.
Alongside the showcase, the venue will host a dedicated children’s festival on August 15 and 16, curated by Taabur in association with WonderLab. Geared toward children aged 3 to 12 years, the festival features hands-on DIY workshops, science experiments, live demonstrations, puppet shows, and interactive activity zones, with every participating child receiving an Explorer Certificate. Through this multi-faceted schedule, Felix Plaza aims to offer a comprehensive Independence Month experience for visitors across Gurugram.
