Mumbai’ Oberoi Mall to observe Earth Hour
Oberoi Mall in Mumbai’s western suburbs will be observing Earth Hour on March 27 from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm to encourage a sustainable lifestyle within the ecosystem.
A press release said the mall will switch off the façade lights during the Earth Hour, aiming to raise awareness and inspire people to take active action for the environment.
Earth Hour is a global campaign wherein non-essential lights are turned off at 8:30 PM on a specific day towards the end of March.
Coordinated by World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and other volunteer organisations, it has become a motivator for positive impact on the environment and Government reforms by bringing together the power of the people.
